• the controller's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) for cookies necessary for service operation

3. Types of cookies used on the platform

The MapiGO platform uses the following categories of cookies:

3.1. Necessary cookies (required)

These are necessary for proper platform operation and do not require your consent.

1. User session cookies
   • purpose: maintain the logged-in user session
   • storage duration: until logout or browser closure
2. Security cookies
   • purpose: protection against abuse and attacks
   • storage duration: up to 24 hours

3.2. Functional cookies (preferences)

These remember your settings such as language, theme, or list view preferences.

1. User preference cookies
   • purpose: remembering app settings
   • storage duration: up to 12 months
2. Cookie consent cookies
   • purpose: saving cookie decision
   • storage duration: 12 months

3.3. Analytics cookies (statistics)

These help us understand how users use the platform so we can improve it. They require your consent if used.

3.4. Marketing and advertising cookies

These may be used when ads are displayed in the free plan. They require your consent.

The Platform may use cookies from external service providers, including:

1. Mapbox - to display maps and map features
2. Google - for place data or redirects to Google Maps
3. Payment operators - for payment processing (for example Stripe)

We do not control cookies set by third parties. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies.

Cookies are stored for different periods depending on their type:

1. Session cookies - deleted after the browser is closed
2. Persistent cookies - stored for a specific time or until manually deleted
